Ryan Rhodes Designs, Inc. was started in 2007 by Ryan Rhodes as a platform for rational design. The firm's core goal is to actualize each individual client's objective through layers of clear communication. Whether the project entails remodeling a kitchen, designing a new custom home, improving or expanding existing office space, or developing a new multi-family dwelling, we believe the key to successful design is communication. The firm takes pride in being able to quickly understand a client's needs and, in concert with the client, taking these needs and preferences from concept to design to a finished product. Ryan Rhodes Designs enjoys the process of working closely with clients, contractors and developers in order to achieve well-crafted and meaningful results.

Ryan was born and raised in the Seattle area and has a broad understanding of the natural, social, and political environments of this unique region. He received both his Bachelor's in Architectural Studies and his Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle. While at the University of Washington, Ryan spent a semester studying architecture in Rome, Italy. Ryan Rhodes started his architectural career and practiced for over ten years with Sortun-Vos Architects. At Sortun-Vos Architects, Ryan collaborated with established architects Gary Sortun, Charlie Vos, and Tom Nychay on every aspect of the architectural process. He has led numerous projects in the Pacific Northwest, as well as Alaska, California and Michigan.
